Treatment outcomes vary based on personal circumstances, medical history, engagement in treatment, and individual clinical needs. No outcome is promised or guaranteed.
Admission & Assessment: Information on this Site does not guarantee admission into any program offered by Pinnacle Detox & Recovery. All admissions are subject to clinical, medical, and psychological evaluation by licensed healthcare professionals, and to bed availability. We are a small residential facility with limited capacity.
Levels of Care: Pinnacle Detox & Recovery provides medically supervised detoxification and residential treatment. We do not provide emergency medical services, inpatient psychiatric hospitalization, or long-term outpatient care. Referrals to other levels of care are coordinated as clinically appropriate.
Out-of-Network Status & Insurance: Pinnacle Detox & Recovery is an out-of-network provider. Any insurance verification offered through this Site is provided as a courtesy. Verification of benefits is an estimate only and is NOT a guarantee of coverage, payment, reimbursement, or admission. Final coverage and payment determinations are made solely by your insurance carrier. You remain responsible for any amounts not covered by your plan, including deductibles, coinsurance, and out-of-network cost-sharing. We do not accept Medicare or Medi-Cal.
3. Licensing, Accreditation & Compliance
Pinnacle Detox & Recovery is committed to maintaining high standards of care and advertising integrity. We operate in compliance with applicable local, state, and federal laws governing substance use disorder treatment facilities, including the federal Eliminating Kickbacks in Recovery Act (EKRA) and applicable California law.
Pinnacle Detox & Recovery holds the following licensure and accreditation:
- Licensed by the California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS)
- Accredited by The Joint Commission
- CLIA Certified (laboratory services)
- LegitScript Certified for healthcare advertising
We do not pay, offer, or receive any remuneration in exchange for patient referrals.
4. Privacy & Protected Health Information
HIPAA: Pinnacle Detox & Recovery is a covered entity under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). Protected health information created or maintained during treatment is handled in accordance with HIPAA and our Notice of Privacy Practices.
42 CFR Part 2: As a substance use disorder treatment provider, patient records are additionally protected under federal confidentiality regulations at 42 CFR Part 2, which impose restrictions on disclosure beyond those of HIPAA.
California Law: We also comply with the California Confidentiality of Medical Information Act (CMIA) and, where applicable, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA).
Information Submitted Through This Site: Information you voluntarily submit through web forms, chat, email, or text message before admission is not necessarily transmitted through a secure or encrypted channel and may not be protected to the same degree as treatment records. Please do not submit detailed medical or clinical information through the Site. To discuss your situation confidentially, contact our admissions team directly by telephone.
