They got me a flight and I was at the doorsteps of Pinnacle recovery that next day! There are truly no words that can express how grateful I am for Pinnacle and every single person who works there and for my peers / family. When I came in, I was at one of the lowest points in my life. I was scared, uncertain, and didn’t know what my future would look like. What I found at Pinnacle wasn’t just treatment.. it was hope, compassion, and people who genuinely cared about me and my recovery. Every staff member treated me and my peers with kindness, respect, and understanding. They never made me feel like just another “client”. They took the time to listen, encourage, and remind me / all of us that recovery was possible, even on the days I struggled to believe it myself. Groups were great and most of the time we made them fun along with learning about this process and given the tools to manage on the outside. One of the things that caught my attention the most was seeing how, whenever one of my peers needed to open up or was having a difficult day, someone was always there to provide one-on-one support. My man Mike turned this one kids life around with just one meeting between the two of them (Ego). That level of compassion is something you don’t find everywhere, and it speaks volumes about the people at Pinnacle. I want to personally thank Mike, Hovic, Claire, Josh, John, Alana, Kristin, and Karo. You have no idea how much you’ve impacted my life. Your patience, encouragement, and belief in me helped me find strength when I had very little left. Even with the tremendous workload you’ve all been carrying recently, you never let it affect the care you gave. You showed up every single day with kindness, professionalism, and genuine hearts, and I’ll never forget that. Because of Pinnacle, I’m leaving with so much more than sobriety.
